Synopsis: Employee cannot access a batch via S2K and receives a message "Batch is Locked"

Solution:
Check with the user if they got kicked out of their S2K screen. Most commonly this issue is the user dropping their connection and trying to grab the batch that their prior session was still holding onto. Sometimes the system may also be holding onto the record. So, it would be advised to first check QSYSOPR for any errors before releasing if the user was not looking at the batch.
When you are ready to release the batch go into S2K.
If AP batch go to Accounts Payable --> Utilities --> Change A/P Batch Status
The employee should be able to provide you with the type/Code of the AP batch.
Type in the batch # and follow prompts to change batch status.

If AR batch go to Accounts Receivable --> Utilities --> Reset A/R Batch Status
The employee should be able to provide you with the batch type of the AR batch.
Type in the batch # and follow prompts to change batch status.
